Our community has survived many blows and its extinction was spelt out. Poverty eradication would never be achieved with glaring problems. Daily stories of disasters are the order of the day, landslides, floods killing people, school dropouts, hunger, communicable and noncommunicable diseases are rampant, animals crossing from the park to destroy crops (and people’s lives) are not new stories here. Such events result in debilitating standards of living among community members.

The community thus needed a guardian who would speak and advocate for them. Hope had to be restored and this gave birth to genuine hope Foundation. Genuine hope foundation is registered with the Local Government of Uganda under its arm of Kasese Municipal council to address community concerns that are associated with overwhelming calamities.
